Developed for SLAM during conversations with then-CEO Les Green, this apparel concept explored a player-led capsule strategy built around iconic athletes with a lasting connection to basketball culture. Allen Iverson was selected as the starting point because of his influence on the game, style, and the attitude that helped define an era. The creative direction was built to leverage SLAM’s editorial credibility, archive, and cultural authority while translating Iverson’s legacy into collectible, wearable product, with the intention of positioning the concept for a potential Reebok partnership. Although the project did not move into production, it was created as a strategic apparel direction for SLAM’s broader brand and merchandise opportunity.
