For this licensed Primitive x Marvel capsule, we built a small apparel collection around Moebius’ iconic Marvel poster artwork, celebrating one of the most influential visual voices in comics and science fiction. As longtime sci-fi fans at Primitive, the timing felt especially relevant with renewed cultural attention around Dune, a world Moebius helped shape through his original concept work for Alejandro Jodorowsky’s unrealized film adaptation. We petitioned Marvel for the rights to use his artwork and translated selected pieces into apparel graphics that honored the scale, detail, and surreal imagination of the originals. The result was a focused capsule that connected Marvel’s character universe, Moebius’ legendary visual language, and Primitive’s own appreciation for art, skateboarding, and cult science fiction.
